Behold everyone, the literal definitions of the words representing this boutique design studio. “Campanile” and “Avenue” are rarely spoken together in casual conversation or used in industry jargon. Yet, when explored at the symbolic and figurative level, they form an eccentric design philosophy.
Historically, campaniles were tall, prominent structures used to communicate messages (via bells) across a community, served as landmarks, and symbolized a community's strength or wealth. They are independent structures visible above its surroundings, similar to this design studio. Shaped by a singular designer whose experience spans multiple design disciplines, this unique skill set creates a broad perspective. A point of view where form, function, and identity intersect.
For centuries, “avenue” has been used to name roadways all over the world. Images of wide roads lined with trees, bustling city streets, and pathways leading home may come to mind. They are connectors, guides, and over time can become more than a road. Certain avenues take on identities far greater than their geography; representing ideas, industries, even entire cultures. Campanile Avenue is a way of approaching design, never staying in one place. Clients are navigated through the design process to concepts that are vivid, meaningful, and feel nostalgic, just like iconic streets, landmarks, and the places that define who we are.
Campanile Avenue provides guidance and direction for clients, helping them navigate branding challenges and achieve their business goals from the first email to the final design files. The goal is to create cool designs for cool people that help put their brand on the map.
"Good design is multidisciplinary" - Why not add an eleventh principle for good design?
